I am not sure how they do it, but after having tried several different hennas years ago, I finally found this company with the least messy and easiest application that really works and blends in my grays.  I say "blend' because this Ash Brown color makes my grays look like highlights, which is the most natural way to blend grays into your hair.  It's also not too dark - I would say a natural medium brown - and it has no red at all.  I also love the way it calms down my frizziness.  I will continue to use this product for a safe, non-toxic option to hide the grays.

After developing an allergy to box dye, I tried Color by Nature Lustrous Henna. The ash brown color is exactly right, and my concern about red tones from the henna was unfounded. The color is lighter on my gray hairs, so it looks like I got highlights. It takes longer than box dye - two hours start to finish - but worth it, and my hair is healthier as well.
