I have been using Henna for many years. I mix brown and golden blonde which works well especially on any gray strands by giving a golden highlight. Over the last year I noticed the gray need a boost and consider adding a little red henna to the mix. I called The company and ask how would Red work with what I use. Their opinion was I would see Red highlights and they were correct. The company is very good at advising what colors to use.
I have medium to dark brown hair with minimal gray. I mix 4 parts brown, 2 parts golden blonde & 1 part Red & I mix with hot strong tea. Worked out well as it covered the gray with a reddish blonde highlight.
I was very pleased and may add a little more red next time.
